Install update

As soon as new version of Greenrain Facility becomes available, it can be installed in one mouse-click.
 

Step 1. Select Tools > Check for updates from the menu. 
       In the top right corner checking for updates begins and after that the update starts to download. The progress is shown in percent.

Step 2. If you change your mind (e.g. the process takes a lot of time), do the following:

• • on checking for updates stage: select from the menu Tools -> Cancel checking for updates or click on Checking for updates label and select Stop checking for updates for now option;
  • on update downloading stage: select from the menu Tools -> Cancel updating or click on Downloading update label and select Stop downloading update for now option.

Otherwise, download is completed and the label shows that it is going to be installed on the next start.
 

Step 3. Click on Update will be installed on next start label.
       Two options become available:

• • Install update now;
  • View changes in version X.

Step 4. Click on View changes in version X label.
       In the dialog appeared user can look through all the changes implemented. 

Step 5. Click on Update now button.
       Facility updater runs. 

After the process has finished Greenrain Facility opens again and at the top right corner the statement appears saying that Greenrain Facility has been successfully updated to new version or that the update has failed to install.

In the second case it is possible to view the reason of failure by clicking on View error details option.
