NCD vs LCD

Greenrain MNC Engine uses data edits from both NCD and LCD. NCD is National Coverage Determinations, and LCD is Local Coverage Determinations. As all Data Files are coming from the US market, NCD edits are mandated on the national level and LCD edits are developed in particular states if they want to implement certain rules that are not defined by NCD. As long and UAE does not have its own national edits, we will use NCD and LCD edits from the US market.

The common rule for Greenrain MNC Engine is to raise an error if the rule is published in NCD and warning for LCD rules. More details are provided in the section Alerts.
