Patient data can be updated during the treatment. For example, contact info has been changed or patient can already have new health insurance. User is able to edit patient data on Patient Details form as well as update the data on Patient Details tab while creating a prior request or an e-claim.
Step 1. Select Patient > Find Patient from the menu.
Patient Search form opens.
Step 2. Set search value and click on Search button.
Search results grid appears.
Step 3. Set focus on any record and click on Edit button.
Patient Details form opens.
Step 4. Edit any field data.
Step 5. Click on Update button.
Patient Details dialog closes. The patient is saved.
ALTERNATIVE WORKFLOWS
Update patient while prior request creation
- Click on Create New Prior Request button.
Electronic Prior Request form opens. Patient Details tab is active. - Load patient data using Find Patient field.
- Edit any field data.
- Go to Request Details tab and enter visit details.
- Go to Procedure Details tab and enter activities details.
- Click on Save As Draft (or Save & Send) button.
Electronic Prior Request form closes. Patient data is updated.
Update patient while e-claim creation
- Select E-Claims > Create New E-Claim from the menu.
Electronic Claim form opens. Patient Details tab is active.K - Load patient data using Find Patient field.
- Edit any field data.
- Go to Patient Visit tab and enter visit details.
- Go to Procedure Details tab and enter activities details.
- Click on Save button.
An information dialog appears informing that the claim is saved in the database. - Click on OK button.
Electronic Claim form closes. The claim is saved. Patient data is updated.
