Content Comparison

Request cancellation is done with Cancel request option. Cancel request link label  control is available only for:

• Eligibility request in Draft status;
• Authorization request in a status other than Rejected.

For an authorization request that is already sent, a cancellation will is also be sent to the Post Office. It concerns requests in Waiting for approval, Approved statuses. If the request is cancelled and the payer is still replying, the system ignores such a reply. The reply will not be marked as downloaded on Shafafiya. 
For a draft prior request, cancellation is made locally without sending to the Post Office.
 

Step 1. Click on  Find Prior Requests button. 
       Find Prior Authorization Requests form opens.

Step 2. Set a search value , and click on  Search button. 
       Search  The search results grid appears.

Step 3. Select a request with Type = Authorization and Status = Approved.
       Cancel request link label appears for the request. 

Step 4. Click on  Cancel request link label.
       Prior Request Cancellation dialog appears. 

Step 5. Click on  Yes button.
       A warning dialog appears informing that the request is sent to Shafafiya. 

Step 6. Click on  OK button.
       Prior Request Cancellation dialog closes. The following changes are applied to the request in the search results grid:

• • Type = (Cancelled) Authorization;
  • Status = (Cancelled) Approved.

Step 7. Click on  View button.
       Electronic Prior Request – Authorization form opens. (CANCELLED) is added to the caption. 

Step 8. Go to Summary tab and check the data.
       Cancellation request summary is available. 

Step 9. Click on  Open cancellation e-claim file link label.
       Transaction file in xml format opens for viewing.

Cancel request from Electronic Prior Request form

1. Click on Find Prior Requests button. 
   Find Prior Authorization Requests form opens.
2. Set a search value, and click on click Search button. 
   Search The search results grid appears.
3. Select a request with Type = Authorization and Status = Approved and click on View button.
   Electronic Prior Request – Authorization form opens.
4. Click on Cancel request link label.
   Prior Request Cancellation dialog appears.
5. Click on Click Yes button.
   A warning dialog appears informing that the request is sent to ShafafiyaPost Office.
6. Click on Click OK button.
   Prior Request Cancellation dialog closes.

Cancel draft request

1. Click on Click Find Prior Requests button. 
   Find Prior Authorization Requests form opens.
2. Set a search value , and click on click Search button. 
   Search The search results grid appears.
3. Select a request with Type = Eligibility and Status = Draft.
4. Click on Click Cancel request link label.
   Prior Request Cancellation dialog appears.
5. Click on Click Yes button.
   An information dialog appears informing that the request is cancelled.
6. Click on Click OK button.
   Prior Request Cancellation dialog closes.
