We are excited to announce the release of Greenrain Facility version 9.0.

What's new?

Version 9.0 comes with the below new features and other updates.

User interface changes

• The column grid arrangement of trade drug code selection has been changed. The new arrangement rearranges the data in an efficient manner allowing the user to quickly select the appropriate drug codes. The new screen sample is shown below.

• The application menu has been revamped to make way for a new focussed functionality based design. The new menu designs are shown below.

New features

• New fields Transfer Source and Transfer Destination on Patient Visit tab of Electronic Claim. Furthermore, this data can also be imported into the application via the Excel worksheet you use to import claims to Greenrain Facility. In the event that the Transfer Source or Transfer Destination you are looking for is unavailable in the list provided, you can manually enter the source or destination provider name preceded by @, e.g. @Rashid Hospital.

  • Transfer Source can be entered if Visit Start Type is “3 - Transfer From Acute Care” or “8 - Transfer Admission From Non-Acute Care”.

  • Transfer destination can be entered if Visit End Type is “4 - Discharge Transfer To Acute Care“ or “7 - Discharge Transfer To Non-Acute Care”.

• Claims import to the database from an Excel file. Upon navigating to Claims → Import claims and picking up your Excel worksheet, Greenrain Facility validates your claims and imports them into your database pending upload (Status = Ready for Submission). You can select multiple claims and then upload them to Shafafiya as one e-claim transaction per payer. The system also shows you the number of uploaded claims and their claimed amount. Once uploaded, the claim status is changed to Submitted to Payer thereby denoting that it has been uploaded to Shafafiya. A history of all claims can be viewed by simply searching in Greenrain Facility.

Greenrain Facility shows the subtotal of all imported claims and also shows the total of claims you decide to upload.

Other updates

• There is an option of how to generate Claim ID value. It is basically just a number that uniquely identifies a particular claim. The setting can be adjusted from the following location Tools → Settings → General (also shown below) and the users have two options:

  • To select ‘Greenrain Facility generates claim ID automatically’.

    • This allows the software to put a sequential claim ID for you when you create a manual claim in the software.

    • If you have imported claims from an Excel worksheet, the claim ID is imported from the Excel worksheet and cannot be changed.

  • To select ‘Allow user to enter claim ID manually’.

    • This allows users to enter their own claim ID when creating a manual claim in the software.

    • If you have imported claims from an Excel worksheet, the claim ID is imported from the Excel worksheet and can be changed.

• This version now allows Net Price of activities to be '0'. Below is how it works:

  • For Claims:

    • Any or All activities including trade drug codes may have the net price = 0.00.

  • For Prior Requests:

    • Any activities including trade drug codes may have the net price = 0.00. However, at least one activity in the particular prior request should have net price > 0.

We are working on the scheduled features published by Shafafiya, as well as functionality as claims export to Excel file.
