As long as a provider generates a large amount number of claims, a complex search is designed to support quick access to the created claims.
Step 1. Select E-Claims > Find E- Claims from the menu.
Find & Submit E- Claims form opens.
Step 2. Set a search value and click on click Search button.
Search The search results grid appears.
There is a possibility to filter e- claims by patient visit (encounter) dates (1) or / and , insurance company (2), claim status (3).
Patient Visit Encounter Dates
1. Today, This week, This month, Last month link labels links. By clicking on any of them the visit start and the visit end date pickers are set as the first day and the last day of the period and the search results grid refreshes. The search can be performed without specifying a search value but setting the visit period only.
Step 1. Select E-Claims > Find E- Claims from the menu.
Find & Submit E- Claims form opens.
Step 2. Click on This month link label.
Search The search results grid appears.
2. Custom visit start and visit end datesencounter period. In this case, only filtering is possible; to perform a search the user needs to press click Search button again again (search value is mandatory).
Step 1. Select E-Claims > Find E- Claims from the menu.
Find & Submit E- Claims form opens.
Step 2. Set a search value, visit start date as the encounter period range as (today, visit end date as today + 10).
Step 3. Click on Search button.
Search The search results grid appears.
Insurance company
Payer ID can be selected from the corresponding search lists which open by clicking on […] button. Another option is to enter the value or part of it manually in the field (e.g. A026 in Payer ID field) and press Enter key. The data will load automatically.
Cover PlanInsurance plan drop-down fills automatically with custom values for the specified payer (after value in Payer ID field is set).
Status
Status list contains the following values: Any status, Ready For Submission, Submitted To Payer, Submission Failed. When a claim is created, it gets status Ready For Submission. When a claim fails to upload, and it is edited, the status changes from Submission Failed to Ready For Submission.
The following actions can be performed with the selected e-claims in the grid:
- Edit – Electronic Claim form opens for editing;
- Generate – E-Claims Generation Result form opens saying if the generation of e-claim transaction was successful or failedUpload Transactions form opens for generated transactions review.
There is also a possibility to add new claim directly on Find & Submit E- Claims form by clicking on Add button.
