Coding files failure alert

The alert is shown if coding file downloads have failed. Coding files consist of updates to trade drug code, prices, physician codes, etc. among other codes that are essential for the system. If Greenrain Facility is unable to download and update them consistently for some reason, the system alerts the user that the codes that may be existing in the application may not be current. Changes on Upload Transactions form

New custom actions for the generated files are available on Upload Transactions form.

...

→ Clicking the first button in column Actions makes the transaction name editable, so the user can rename the file to follow the format required by the payer.

...

→ Clicking the second button in column Actions opens Transaction Content form where the user can preview the generated Claim.Submission transaction before sending it to Shafafiya. Also, it is possible to copy the content and search for a specific value within the file.

Changes on Find Claims form
Find Claims form gets new column and filter Status. The following statuses are supported:

  • Ready for Submission - a draft claim without sending attempt.

  • Submitted to Payer - a claim which is already uploaded to Safafiya and waiting for the payer reply.

  • Submission Failed - a claim which uploading failed.

A claim in status Ready for Submission or Submission Failed can be edited as many times as needed. A claim in status Submitted to Payer is not editable and can be opened for viewing only (all controls on Electronic Claim form are disabled); also it cannot be selected for transactions generating. Subsequently, when no claims are selected for upload, button Generate is disabled.

New Features

Add dental codes to claims excel document/template via activities sheet.

In previous versions, dental codes could be entered via the observations sheet of the claims upload excel file. However, with version 3.1 the application now supports parsing and upload of observation values (tooth numbers) with associated dental codes via activities sheet in addition to observations sheet as shown below. Users may now input teeth information either via the observations sheet or the activities sheet depending on ease or preference.

  1. On Activities sheet, an optional column - ‘Tooth Numbers' - is added.

  2. Teeth must be listed in one cell separated by a comma (,) corresponding to the respective activity (Activity ID).

  3. Leading and trailing spaces are ignored while parsing.

  4. Activity Type shall be 6 (Dental).

Acceptable Formats

You may enter multiple tooth numbers for an activity separated by a comma (,).

...

Spaces in addition to the symbols between tooth numbers are allowed, however, are not required. The spaces will automatically be discarded by the software while extracting tooth numbers.

...

Not Acceptable Formats

Should not duplicate activities, if you require to enter multiple tooth numbers, you may use symbols such as a comma (,) to separate tooth numbers on the same (Activity ID).

...

Should not use any other symbol than what is allowed.

...

The column name should match exactly as ‘Tooth Numbers’ else the column will be skipped completely. For instance, no tooth numbers will be extracted from the below sample.

...

Note

If there are dental observations on both Activities and Observations sheets, the data is aggregated. Duplicated observations for the same activity are ignored.
